Kozy Paints DAMP SEALENT is a high performance modified styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) based binder. It is recommended as a bonding agent for concrete /mortar in repair like spalled concrete and surfaces strongly with plasters. It can also be used for waterproofing of toilets and bathrooms. It also serves as a bond coat for repair patch work.
DIRECTION FOR USE:
Surface Preparation: Before application of Kozy Damp Sealent clean the surface to remove all loose particles, dirt and greases etc. Vacuum clean it throughly to remove loose material.
HOW TO APPLY KOZY DAMP SEALENT:
Mix properly for at least 3 to 4 minutes to avoid air trapping and slowly add cement to Kozy Damp Sealent until consistency achieved.
Mechanical stirrers are recommended for efficient mixing
Apply two coats of mix by brush in span of at least 5 hours for efficient results.
BOND COAT:
For bond coat application mix AP SC Repair polymer and cement in the ratio of 1:1.
Brush apply 1 or 2 continuous coat of the mix on the prepared concrete substrate.
Ensure to overlay the repair mortar when the bond coat is still tacky.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Mix cement, sand and aggregates in appropriate proportion with 2/3" part of mixing water.
Mix Dr. Wallz DW+ Waterproofing with balance 1/3rd part of premix concrete or motor water containing. Dr. Wallz DW+ Waterproofing to premix concrete motor.
Mix the concrete or mortar thoroughly till achieving cohesive consistency.
Maintain water cement ratio as low as possible (less then 0.5) for higher durability of concrete or mortar.
DOSAGE: 200ml. of Dr.Wallz Dw+ Waterproofing for every 50kg cement bag used. PRECAUTION: Do not consume orally. In case it happens by mistal immediately
contact a doctor, induce vomiting.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITION:
Storage in a cool & dry place.
Maximum Chloride Content less then 2.0%.
